Criminal law

Criminal law is the set of legal rules that associate crime with punishment and/or security measures, as a legal consequence. Criminal law describes behaviours that have been negatively valued by the legislator, and ultimately by society, and for this reason they are declared criminal and their execution is punished.
We offer both preventive and assistance services in this area to both individuals and legal entities.
- Preventive within the framework of an accurate advisory service, especially in the economic and business field in the face of increasingly broad and strict regulations.
- Procedural assistance in the context of self-defence or in order to bring a prosecution.
Civil law

Civil law is the set of legal rules and principles that regulate personal or property relations between private individuals, both physical and legal, or in general terms, as the rules and principles that regulate the most general and everyday relations of people’s lives, considering people as such, as subjects of law.
We offer our services both in the private sphere of counselling, the defence of our own interests, negotiation, as well as in the following areas when it is necessary to resort to the judicial bodies:
- Family: Matrimonial regimes, separations and divorces, emancipations, guardianships,…
- Successions
- Drafting and revision of contracts
Comercial law

Commercial law is the set of legal rules relating to traders in the exercise of their profession, to acts of commerce legally classified as such and to the legal relationships derived from their performance.
In Andorra, commercial law does not have its own specific jurisdiction, but rather it is the same jurisdictional bodies that deal with civil law that are competent in this area.
In this area we offer both our own jurisdictional defence services such as:
- The incorporation of companies and all the different cases contemplated in corporate life (drafting and modification of bylaws, shareholders’ agreements, capital increase, purchase and sale of shares or participations, dissolutions, mergers, etc.).
- Drafting of various documents related to business activity: start-ups, foreign investment, trade openings, etc…
- Assistance in negotiations and transactions.
Administrative law

Administrative law is the set of legal rules that regulate the organisation, functioning and attributions of the public administration in its relations with individuals and other public administrations.
We provide our services in the contentious field in all types of administrative proceedings such as: immigration, expulsions, communal or governmental administrative sanctions, among others…
Tax law

Tax law is a part of administrative law relating to public finance that regulates the collection of state revenue, especially through the tax system, and its use in public expenditure.
We provide our service in contentious proceedings in this area.
We do not provide a full tax consultancy service, but we can provide the support of professional experts in this field.
Alternative dispute resolution

Resolving disputes between individuals by going to court is not always the best option.
This decision takes time, often involves personal effort and is not always satisfactory in terms of the judicial resolution obtained.
There are other alternative means that may come into play, depending on the case, and which can provide greater efficiency in resolving the conflict, such as:
- Mediation: this is a procedure in which the parties voluntarily join together, with the professional help of a completely impartial mediator, to find a solution to the conflict, reaching a “mediation agreement” which can be made public and which has the same binding force as a sentence.
- Conciliation: this is a procedure with similar characteristics but in which an impartial third party offers proposed solutions.
- Arbitration: this involves appealing before a tribunal made up of experts in the subject matter of the dispute who decide on the matter by issuing an “arbitration award”.
We offer a service of advice and accompaniment in these processes.
Advice to diagnose which scenario may best suit the case and accompaniment to defend the client’s interests within the framework of the chosen procedure.
In particular, we offer our own specific mediation service with accredited professionals registered in the Register of Mediators of Andorra.
